Kodoani.com – Official Twitter account for manga Tokyo Revengers Ken Wakui’s announced on Monday that the series is getting a spin-off manga titled Tokyo Revengers ~ Baji Keisuke Kara no Tegami ~ (A Letter from Keisuke Baji) by Yukinori Kawaguchi with Wakui’s supervision. The manga will launch in this year’s 35th issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine on July 27, and it will also serialize on the Magazine Pocket app. The spin-off will revolve around Keisuke and Chifuyu, from meeting to parting.
Following the news, Takemichi Hanagaki learns that his girlfriend back from high school, Hinata Tachibana, has passed away. The only girlfriend he’s ever had has just been killed by a gang of gangsters known as the Tokyo Manji Gang. He lives in a shabby apartment with thin walls, and his boss six years younger than him treats him like an idiot. Plus, he’s a virgin and completely… At the height of his social life, he suddenly goes back twelve years back to his high school days!! Wakui launched the manga in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine in March 2017, and Kodansha published the manga’s 28th volume on June 17.
A television anime adaptation premiered in April 2021 and aired for 24 episodes. Warner Bros. Japan has already produced a live-action film of the manga, opening in July 2021. The anime will feature a new work that includes the manga’s “Seiya Kessen” (“Christmas Showdown”) arc, as well as an app game. for iOS and Android.
