Tokyo Revengers premiered in April 2021 and aired 24 episodes. The compelling ending of the first season has fans waiting for Season 2. Therefore, the Tokyo Revergers extension for the second season has been announced in December 2021 and is scheduled for release in January 2023. .
The first episode of Season 2 airs on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at 3 a.m. JST.
The same animation studio, Liden Films, will produce the second season. They have produced 24 episodes for Season 1, but they have not revealed how many episodes will be in Season 2.

Tokyo Revergers Season 2 Episode 1 Summary
Episode 1 Tokyo Revengers season 2 episode 1 is titled “It Is What It Is”. The episode begins when Kisaki is about to shoot Takemichi, however, someone cuts off the power and rescues Takemichi.
When Takemichi opened his eyes, he saw someone standing in front of him, for a second he mistook that person for Baji but a few seconds later realized that it was Kazutora.
He hits Takemichi and says he has seen members of Toman harass a woman like that. He informs Takemichi of Toman’s current corrupt state and Chifuyu’s will to fight against it.
Kazutora admits that he wasn’t there to save Takemichi but to save Chifuyu. He further informs Takemichi about a young detective who approached Chifuyu to work together. The detective is later revealed to be Naoto, who urged Takemichi to go back in time and save the future once and for all.
Encouraged by Naoto’s words, Takemichi shakes his hand and is transported back in time.
What to Expect from Tokyo Revergers Season 2 Episode 2

He is the one who killed his brother (Taiju Shiba) in the future for money and took over the gang.
When Yuzuha told Takemichi that Hakkai had great respect for Mitsuya, he thought that maybe breaking up with Mitsuya made him join the Black Dragon. And if that’s the case, Takemichi must prevent that from happening and thereby prevent the Black Dragon from damaging Toman in the future.
