Kodoani.com – The main website for the Tokyo Revengers anime revealed on Sunday that the anime Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku-hen (Tenjiku Arc) will premiere in October on MBS, TV Tokyo, and AT-X. The website also revealed the trailer for the new season and many other voice actors.
New cast members include:
Seiichirō Yamashita as Kakucho, the head of the Four Heavenly Kings of Tenjiku
Kouki Uchiyama as Shion Madarame, one of the Four Heavenly Kings of Tenjiku
Daisuke Namikawa as Ran Haitani, one of the Four Heavenly Kings of Tenjiku
Hiro Shimono as Rindo Haitani, Ran’s younger brother
The previously announced new voice cast includes Nobunaga Shimazaki as Izana Kurokawa and Tetsu Inada as Kanji Mochizuki. Izana is the leader of the Tenjiku team based in Yokohama, and Kanji is one of the Four Heavenly Kings of Tenjiku.
Ken Wakui launched the manga in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in March 2017 and ended the series on November 16. Weekly Shōnen Magazine is serializing the Tokyo Revengers Extra spinoff manga about the founders of the Gang Tokyo Manji.
Takemichi, a virgin unemployed youth, learns that the first and only girl he dated since high school has died. After an accident, he finds himself transported back to his middle school days. He vows to change the future and keep that girl, to do so, he decides to rise to become the most notorious gang boss in the Kantou region.
The manga’s first television anime adaptation premiered in April 2021. The Tokyo Revengers: Christmas Showdown season of the anime premiered on January 7 and aired for 13 episodes.
The first live-action series based on the manga opened in Japan in July 2021 and is the No. 1 live-action film in Japan in 2021. The first of two sequels to the live-action Chi series. no Halloween -Unmei- (Bloody Halloween -Fate-) opens in Japan on April 21, while the second part Chi no Halloween -Kessen- (Bloody Halloween -Decisive Battle-) opens on June 30 .
