Kodoani.com – Official website of the manga adaptation Kawaisugi Crisis (Too Cute Crisis) by Mitsuru Kido posted a second promotional video and main image for the anime on Thursday. The video reveals and accompanies the opening song “Space Cat Big Bang” by Chōgakusei. The video also features the ending song “Nyanbori de Moffi!!” by DIALOGUE+.
The anime will premiere on Tokyo MX on April 7 at 10:30 p.m. JST before airing on BS Asahi and Kansai TV.
The sci-fi comedy anime follows Liza Luna, who has been sent to Earth by the space empire Azatos. At first, she thought it would be fine to destroy the Earth because it has a low level of civilization. However, after stopping at a cafe, she came across a cat and was shocked by its cuteness.
The main cast of the anime includes: Natsumi Fujiwara as Yozora, Yumiri Hanamori as Liza Luna, Jin Ogasawara as Seiji Mukai, and Saya Aizawa as Kasumi Yanagi.

Jun Hatori directed the anime at Synergy SP. Aya Satsuki is overseeing and writing the series, and Mayumi Watanabe is designing the characters. Shun Narita and Yūsuke Seo composed the music.
Haruko Seto is the main color artist, Chiho Wada is the art director, Hiroki Tsubouchi is the general director of photography, and Hideaki Murai is the editor. Nozomi Nakatani is the sound director, and Yuka is in charge of the sound effects. Promotions Bit Grooove is in charge of sound production and Pony Canyon is in charge of music production.
Kido launched the manga in Shueisha’s Jump Square magazine in October 2019. The manga is also available in Shonen Jump+. Shueisha will publish the manga’s seventh volume on April 4.
