Under The Oak Tree Chapter 67 opens with Maximilian waking up to find that Agnes has arrived at the training ground to wait for her. Maxi asks the maids to prepare everything for her and Agnes’ town tour to go smoothly. She thought about how she acted confidently last night even though she didn’t know her way around town except for a few places.
Under The Oak Tree Chapter 67: Summary
Maxi orders a maid who knows about the town to accompany her on the tour. Then she went to the training ground to inform Agnes. Meanwhile, Riftan and Agnes duel on the training ground to test their sword skills. After a short match, Riftan defeated Agnes, and she gladly accepted that knowing she was still inferior in comparison to him.
Riftan compliments Agnes by saying that she has improved since the last time they fought and that she accepts the compliment. Maxi arrives at the training ground and is shocked at the sight. Agnes noticed Maxi so the two greeted each other. Agnes asks Maxi to call her by name because she hates being called by titles.
Agnes then tells Maxi that she wants to see the village, so she wants to leave early. Maxi informs her that she has asked the maids to prepare the carriage, and so they will depart soon. Moments later, Agnes and Maxi set off for town. Agnes noticed that the town’s population had grown and that there were also a lot of large buildings around.
Some of Agnes’ servants guarded the carriage while others followed her for protection. The maids informed Agnes of all the recent happenings in the city of Anatol, starting with the shops and merchants. Agnes tells Maxi that she heard Riftan will visit the quarry and asks her if he has any intention of expanding the castle.
Maxi replies that Riftan wants to build a wide road to connect Anatol to the ports and if he succeeds, then he will establish the shortest road connecting the southern and western continents. Agnes gives a rather strange smile and says that if Riftan succeeds, then Anatol will become the most important commercial center.
Maxi wonders if Agnes will not be satisfied with Riftan’s plan as Agnes turns to her with a bright smile and says that he will have to destroy the monsters first in order to succeed because the merchants will do not go to Anatol if that does not happen . Maxi wonders if she’s confused about Agnes when she suddenly notices a butcher shop that scares her.
Agnes asks Maxi to have lunch with her, and although Maxi refuses because it’s too early, she takes her hand and takes her to a dinner location. Agnes’ waiters asked her to be cautious when dining at the market, but she replied that she only went there to gather information because there are many Tourists visiting such places.
The waiter still argued that Agnes could leave the information gathering to them because they feared she would start drinking again the way she does in every pub. Maxi is shocked to learn that Agnes is visiting the Tavern. Agnes asks her servants to be quiet because she would never do something that could trouble Maxi, so she won’t drink.
Agnes’s attendant still tries to stop her by saying that her behavior is unbecoming of a royal, but she flees with Maxi before he can finish his sentence. She noticed a crowd of women in one place and asked about it. The maid replied that they were looking at decorative belts.
Agnes said that the women must be reprising their role as the mistress of the wired dryad lover, and the maid agreed. She then grabs Maxi and asks her to get an ornament, since it’s her first festival. Maxi wonders why Agnes is so nice to her.
