A Genshin Impact player has shared an impressive concept map for one of the most anticipated areas, the floating island aka Celestia.
A Genshin Impact gamer created an interesting concept map of the famous Tiankong Island area. This floating island can be seen from almost anywhere in Teyvat, including the recently added Sumeru area. Although HoYoverse has yet to confirm its arrival, it is safe to say that Celestia will become an explorable area in the future.

Since Genshin Impact launched in September 2020, developer HoYoverse has introduced four of the seven main regions to the game. According to one of the game’s first story trailers, Fontaine will be the next country on the Traveler’s journey, but players will have to wait a few months for it to officially launch.

The game’s official storyline has revealed that Celestia is the abode of the gods of Teyvat and special mortals, who have devoted themselves and proven themselves worthy enough to become gods. Reddit user u/Substantial_Fan_9582 shared an impressive concept map of Celestia that has attracted a lot of attention on Genshin Impact’s official Reddit sub. While some commented that they expected the official map to be similar to the one shown in the concept, others suggested that the area would likely have many islands. Although HoYoverse has yet to reveal any official images of the area, most players agree that Celestia can appear in the Genshin Impact main loading screen that appears upon entering the Teyvat world.

The floating island may also be where Aether and Lumine battle Thien Ly in the game’s first cutscene. This character, who introduces himself as the Ruler of Heaven, is said to be one of the late game bosses in the story. Not much is known about Thien Ly, but some fan theories suggest that she may be related to Paimon because they share the same dominant colors in their outfits and designs.
