After a family massacre orchestrated by traitor Ashikaga Takauji, Tokiyuki escaped with several loyal subordinates who survived the purge. Among them was Suwa Yorishige, an ally of the Hojo clan and lord of Suwa province. Yorishige, with his peculiar demeanor, claimed to possess clairvoyance and predicted that Tokiyuki would eventually become the ruler of Japan. However, the immediate priority is to find a way out of enemy territory.
Yusei Matsui, known for works such as Majin Tantei Nōgami Neuro and Assassination Classroom, began serializing the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in January 2021 and the series is currently continuing.
