Demon Slayer fans will once again enjoy a new theatrical experience with the release of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training- in February.
According to the official press release, Crunchyroll, in collaboration with Aniplex of America and Sony Pictures Entertainment, is distributing Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training- in North American theaters. The new stage event will allow fans to witness the grand finale of the “Blacksmith Village Arc” on the big screen, while also providing a taste of the upcoming Season 4 storyline, “Hashira Training Arc ”. A special one-night screening featuring Japanese voice actors Natsuki Hanae (Tanjiro Kamado) and Hiro Shimono (Zenitsu Agatsuma), as well as producer Yuma Takahashi, will take place on February 10 at Regal Union Square in New York. The full theatrical release will then begin on February 23, available in IMAX and premium large format (PLF) theaters. Tickets for the one-off event in New York can be purchased via the official website, while tickets for the following full screenings across the US can be purchased here.

The World Tour 2024 event is a celebration of the Demon Slayer anime television series that began in 2019 and its growing fan base, which continues to skyrocket in popularity. It was revealed that the Season 3 finale of “Swordsmith Village Arc” was the most-watched anime episode on Japanese television in 2023, second only to the compilation film “Entertainment District Arc.”
ABEMA, the Japanese streaming service, also ranked Demon Slayer at number 2 on its ranking of the most streamed anime of 2023. Despite taking place at the height of the COVID-19 epidemic, Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train has become the “2nd highest-grossing anime film in US box office history” in 2021. The first theatrical Demon Slayer anime film also grossed more than 450 million USD worldwide.
