Kodoani.com – The December issue of Square Enix's Monthly G Fantasy magazine announced on Monday that the manga Milk Chocolate of Utakata will officially end in the next issue, scheduled to come out on December 18, 2024.
Journey From Pixiv To Big Magazine
Manga Milk Chocolate originally drawn and posted by Utakata on his personal Pixiv account in August 2020.
The story revolves around the daily life of Honoka, a girl who is close to Kaede and is dating Ryō, the most handsome brother in Kaede's school.
With a gentle storytelling style and emotional drawings, the series quickly attracted the attention of readers. The magazine version was released in August 2022 and has been compiled by Square Enix into three volumeswith the latest episode released on July 26.
Utakata's Imprints in the Manga Village
In addition to Milk Chocolate, Utakata is also known for his work Gap Papa: Daddy at Work and at Homea humorous, warm comic series revolving around the life of a father who works while taking care of his family.
Gap Papa was first posted on Twitter and Pixiv in August 2020, then compiled into printed volumes by Kadokawa. The fifth volume of the manga debuted on October 24 this year.
Seven Seas Entertainment also licensed the series for an English language release, with the fourth volume released on April 16.
