MBE’s first match at VCS Spring 2023 against TW was a tough one. That was the first lesson of the youth team at the highest level of League of Legends in Vietnam.
With the slogan “Never back down”, rookie VCS – MGN Box Esports will be the youngest team at VCS Spring 2023. The first tournament will definitely be very difficult for MBE, but never bow. rookies have rookie playstyles!

It was very surprising that the MBE – VCS rookie had the first steps to play better than the top 3 VCS Summer 2022 TW. MBE has an advantage in the early levels but is still too young to maintain and promote what is available. The bravery of the senior team made TW quickly balance, even taking the lead in terms of advantage.
TW also played fair with his junior team. Wherever you meet, however, experience is still a gap that is hard to fill. TW still has a bit of a gap in terms of money and has a profit on turrets, but the MBE still proves to be quite “hard to eat” when it comes to head-to-head combat.
TW is more experienced in late game teamfights
If the game is even, the more experienced and calmer will have the advantage and that is clearly TW. A successful Baron robbery in the 24th minute made TW pull the advantage to their side. Thereby quickly ending the first game when Nagiya – TW’s top laner swept 3 members of MBE from the map.
MBE once again had the advantage at the start of the game with the Lucian – Nami pairing on the bottom wing overwhelmingly against TW’s AD support. Even this time, MBE took the lead in the laning phase when all MBE lanes prevailed. During the first 20 minutes of the game, MBE pressured the top 3 of VCS.
However, it is still a problem of experience that is too difficult to solve with a young team like MBE. In times of advantage, the MBE still gives TW the opportunity to accumulate resources and rise in the ensuing teamfight.
MBE lets TW accumulate resources and flip the rafters too easily
From 9-7 kills for MBE, TW balanced to 9-9 and gradually regained the advantage. In the 27th minute, TW took 2 for 3 from MBE to aim for a 2-0 victory.
MBE lost but was not weak, VCS fans can hope for a young team with strong VCS identity that will learn and develop more in the future.
