VNG's 4-year-old blockbuster
Perhaps, if you are a longtime VNG gamer, readers already know that the game mentioned here is Perfect World VNG. Because this is one of the few MMORPG games that are up to 4 years old, published by VNG and causing a storm in the Vietnamese gaming community.
However, if you have never heard of this name, Perfect World VNG is an open world 3D role-playing game, developed by Perfect World and published by VNG in the Vietnamese market. Perfect World VNG is a clear testament to the familiar role-playing games, possessing the Three Gioi system with a total continental area of up to 60,000km2.
However, a while ago, VNG suddenly announced to stop releasing this product, making millions of gamers extremely disappointed. The reason given is because this game will stop working and be replaced by another version called Continental Than Ma – Multinational Great War.
VNG gamers officially said goodbye
After nearly 3 months since this sudden announcement appeared, recently, VNG gamers finally had to officially say goodbye to 4 years of “youth” full of memories in the Hoan My Continent. At 8:00 a.m. yesterday (October 31), Perfect World VNG's official fanpage posted the final announcement determining the game's death date.
Even though they knew the outcome a long time ago, many VNG gamers still couldn't hide their sadness and felt regret for a blockbuster hit. Perhaps it will be a long time before VNG can bring such an impressive and quality product to the Vietnamese gaming community.
On the other hand, the game that is said to be the successor of Perfect World VNG, Continent of Gods – Multinational War, has not revealed too much specific information at the present time. It is unclear whether this product will inherit the quintessence of its “older brother”, but it is clearly highly anticipated by Vietnamese gamers.
