Kodoani.com – Kamitsubaki Studio, a creative company specializing in virtual idols VWP (Muv-Luv Alternative, Cardfight!! Vanguard DivineZ), is preparing to adapt the project Kamitsubaki-Shi Kensetsu-Jū (Kamitsubaki City Under Construction ) into an anime television series next year. This announcement was announced on the first day of the “Kamitsubaki Yoyogi Wars 2024” event.
Kamitsubaki Studio has been developing this project with user participation since 2019, creating a community of more than 20,000 users participating in alternate reality gaming and “tabletop” experiences.
The story will continue to unravel the mysteries hidden in the virtual city of Kamitsubaki, aiming to restore order and peace on the streets.
Members of virtual idol group VWP — including KAF, RIM, Harusaruhi, Isekaijoucho and COKO — will continue to provide voices for the project. Kamitsubaki Studio officially announced its plans to develop games in the rhythm, adventure and virtual reality genres last September.
