Kodoani.com – Shiravune Company announced on Thursday that they will be releasing visual novels White Album: Memories like Falling Snow for PC via Steam on August 4.
The Visual Novel will have English and Chinese localization. The specific release will be the 2010 White Album remake of the game: Tsuzurareru Fuyu no Omoide.
In the game, the player takes on the role of Toya Fujii, a college student who is in a relationship with Yuki Morikawa, a dignified girl who is also a rapidly popular idol. However, Yuki’s work schedule leaves her with less and less time to go to school and see Toya, leading to separation between them. The player can try to maintain their relationship with Yuki or pursue a relationship with other heroines such as Rina Ogata – Yuki’s best friend and rival idol, Misaki Sawakura – a writer and Toya and Yuki’s high school friend, Haruka Kawashima – an introverted burly girl after her brother’s death, Mana Mizuki – a rebellious high school student solosar, or Toya’s rebellious solo idol teacher Toya.
Leaf originally released the game White Album in 1998 and quickly gained attention for its sombre tune, vocals, multi-dimensional characters, and themes of infidelity. The 2010 remake was subsequently released with many improvements, including new art, a special voiceover starring Aya Hirano as Yuki and Nana Mizuki as Rina, in addition to new songs and the addition of the character Sayoko as the female lead. The game was adapted for a television anime adaptation in 2009.
With a combination of great elements from the original game and the 2010 remake, White Album Visual Novel continues to captivate both players and fans of the television anime, promising exciting and memorable moments of entertainment.
