The head coach of Vietnam Esports Duong Vi Khoa was suddenly not on the list to attend the 32nd SEA Games, making many people wonder.
SEA Games 32 is about to start and in order to best prepare for the regional tournament, the Vietnam Esports team quickly had a meeting. Accordingly, the list of participating teams has a total of 52 members, including a team leader, 7 coaches and 44 athletes. Notably in this list, Ms. Dao Thuy Duong went to the 32nd SEA Games under the state policy and the team members went under the budget of the Vietnam E-Sports Entertainment Association (VIRESA).

Why did coach Duong Vi Khoa get kicked out of the 32nd SEA Games list?
But on April 21, many people were surprised when Duong Vi Khoa, head coach of the Vietnam Esports team, informed that despite being the team’s head coach and companion for the past 15 years, he was not on the list. participation in the 32nd SEA Games according to the decision of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Specifically, Mr. Khoa asked that the original list of VIRESA sent to the General Department of Physical Education and Sports to the SEA Games 32 had his name, but in the final list of the name of this coach, there was no such thing. When asked about the reason for the absence of Mr. Khoa’s name, Thuy Duong said that she had lost the list to attend the 32nd SEA Games, if she wanted to go, she had to raise a problem with the leader of the General Department of Physical Education and Sports. Duong herself does not manage the head coach of the Esports team.

In addition, an equally surprising information is that even though it has been almost a year, while the athletes and coaches of the Esports team have all received bonuses according to state regulations from the General Department of Physical Education and Training. However, Mr. Khoa confirmed that he had not received any money yet.
Because of this incident, Mr. Khoa sent a letter reflecting the incident to Mr. Dang Ha Viet, Director General of the General Department of Physical Education and Sports. Accordingly, Mr. Khoa suggested that the General Department of Physical Education and Sports should clarify and soon give him bonuses like other athletes and coaches.
Although he complained, on April 21, Mr. Khoa said that the prize money for the 2022 SEA Games from the General Department of Physical Education and Sports had not yet been received. Regarding this incident, Ms. Dao Thuy Duong also said that she did not understand and asked the units to ask VIRESA.
