There are only a few days left before the Worlds 2022 Warm-Up Round will officially start, but the players are still unable to practice effectively because of FPS issues.
At the last MSI 2022, Riot Games received a “rain of stones” when it announced that teams would compete at 35ms ping, even making “memes” appear in the Vietnam region like ” Ping 35ms, how to play? To this day, Riot Games continues to be accused of “doing irresponsibly” in the process of preparing the training environment for the players at the 2022 World Championships Kick-off Round.
FNC Wunder was upset when Riot Games refused to resolve the FPS issue at the 2022 Worlds Play-In Round.
More specifically, recently Fnatic member Wunder was very upset and took to Twitter to share: “We are playing with FPS jumping from 30 to 100 in every game in Mexico and RIOT is not solving any. any problem at the moment. We weren’t able to practice effectively and the official competition will be the only time we’ll be able to compete with a human setup.”
According to the POV screen of T1 Zeus at MSI 2022, the FPS of the competition machine ranges from 140 to 180.
Accordingly, although this time the problem is not in the ping, but the FPS also affects the training process of the players. Many fans also commented that if the FPS is at 30, it will even lose to the “net grass” shops, not to mention the mid-range shops. So there have been many fans who criticized Riot Games’ machines worse than what this company can prepare.
“What’s the game like in FPS 30?” – a saying that promises to become a “model” after each bad handling phase of the Fnatic team in the near future.
Not only that, making more fans uncomfortable is that Riot Games knows this FPS problem but still has not resolved it for Fnatic as well as other teams in the 2022 Kick-off Round.
Even Tolki – former analyst of T1 and Fnatic also had to criticize Riot: “Honestly, Riot has been providing ‘bad’ PC at Worlds for 5 years now. Teams know this and have problems every year. Somehow, each team has to understand and take care of itself.”
Tolki shared about Riot Games’ lack of professionalism at Worlds in recent years.
