Kodoani.com – Music artist Yoh Kamiyama (Drifting Dragons, Horimiya) will contribute the song “Endroll” as the ending theme for the second season of the anime. Bleach: The Thousand Years Blood Battle. Kamiyama noted that he has been a fan of Bleach since he was a child, so this opportunity is like a dream come true. He added that he wished he could tell his childhood self that he would one day do this in the future.
The anime will return for a second season and premiere on TV Tokyo and its affiliates in Japan on July 8 at 11:00 p.m. (10:00 a.m. EDT). The second season will premiere in the US on Huluh, Latin America on Star+, and in select countries worldwide on Disney+ on July 8 at 10:30 a.m. EDT. The anime will have English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, and Italian subtitles.

The three-member rock band wod will perform the opening theme song “STARS”. This is the first time wod has contributed a theme song to an anime. Manga creator Kubo noted that he’s a fan of the band himself, though that wasn’t the deciding factor on the song.
The first season of the anime ended in December with an hour-long special that combined the 12th and 13th episodes of the anime. The anime will run for four seasons with breaks in between.
The anime covers the rest of the original manga until the end. The Thousand Years’ Blood Battle is the final part of the manga, consisting of volumes 55-74.
Tomohisa Taguchi will replace Noriyuki Abe to direct the anime at Studio Pierrot. Masashi Kudo will return as the character designer and Shiro SAGISU will return to compose the music.
The show’s return to Japan cast also includes actors who don’t appear in the anime, but are reprising their roles from the Bleach: Brave Souls game.
