Spy x Family and Street Fighter 6 have released a special collaboration video between Yor Forger and Chun-Li.
The animated short showcases a high-speed martial arts battle between the infamous Thorn Princess and the legendary Interpol officer. Wit Studio, the animation company behind the animated film Spy x Family, handled the production of the special video. Street Fighter 6 illustrator Chisato Mita also previously illustrated a piece to celebrate the collaboration between the two beloved franchises, which features Loid Forger, Anya Forger and Bond watching the battle alongside Ryu and Chun-Li’s student Li-Fen.

The collaboration between Spy x Family and Street Fighter 6 was first announced in July 2023 as a special promotional event for the upcoming animated film Spy x Family Code: White, scheduled for release. theaters on December 22. Street Fighter 6 will also host an in-game event celebrating the launch of Code: White on January 9 with new Spy x Family collaboration items. While Capcom has yet to reveal details on what items will be available during the event, Street Fighter 6’s previous collaboration with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles notably included a variety of themed cosmetics TMNT like stickers, avatar outfits and wallpapers.
Spy x Family Code: White prepares for its Christmas premiere
Spy x Family Code: White is the first animated film adaptation of Tatsuya Endo’s comedy manga into an anime, telling the original story written by Spy x Family Season 2 screenwriter Ichiro Okouchi and supervised by by Endo himself. Wit Studio and CloverWorks, the animation studio behind the anime adaptation, are once again working together on the film, with director Takashi Katagiri helming Code: White. Shueisha also announced that the novel adaptation of Code: White written by author Aya Najima will be released on the same day as the film’s release.
