“The Thorn Princess” Yor Forger and Chun-Li, “The Strongest Woman in the World,” finally square off in the first official Street Fighter 6 and Spy x Family crossover gameplay video released by Capcom.
Last December, the animated series Spy x Family announced that it would team up with Street Fighter 6 as part of a promotional event for the film Spy x Family: Code White in Japan. A special animation video by Wit Studio (the anime studio behind Spy x Family) was released to celebrate the announcement, teasing the anticipated pairing of Chun-Li and Forger. With the Spy x Family game event finally underway, Street Fighter developer Capcom has released a video, seen below, of the two famous heroines duking it out.

Spy x Family Code: White continues to make a big splash at the box office, with a new trailer celebrating over 3.4 billion yen in ticket sales.
In contrast to previous animated videos of Yor and Chun-Li’s fights, this latest cross-promotion for Spy x Family and Street Fighter 6 is produced as a traditional in-game fight. Yor’s image was created through the fighting game’s character creation system called Avatar. For three rounds, Yor and Chun-Li gave their best until the shocking result. Street Fighter fans who want to create their own Yor through the avatar system can do so thanks to Capcom sharing the recipe code. The company also has the recipe code to create the Loid Forger in the game:

As part of the Spy x Family: Code White promotional event, Street Fighter 6 players can unlock various outfits for their profiles and avatars, such as Yor’s black dress and the Loid’s three-piece suit, by using Drive Tickets or completing in-game challenges. Photo frames, stickers, and player trophies featuring Yor, Loid, and their daughter, Anya Forger, are now available as unlockable rewards in Street Fighter 6. Previously, Street Fighter 6 partnered with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, offers beautiful (but expensive) skinned avatars of the four turtle brothers.
