The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom players trapped at the bottom of the well can use these methods to return to the surface.
Kodoani.com – The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom features many of the same Hyrule locations and biomes as in Breath of the Wild with snowy mountains, clear grasslands, arid deserts and mountains Death Mountain fire is coming back. Surprisingly, one of the newer areas in the sequel is at the bottom of the well. The well can now be found around Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and has a much larger underground area than a simple hole in the ground.
There are 58 wells that Link can jump into and explore, which means players will have to get out of those wells on their own at least that many times. Since there is no Lassie to call for help, the player will have to literally find a way out of the hole. This guide will show the player several methods of escaping from the well.
How to escape the well in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Wells are scattered throughout this somewhat new area of Hyrule and are often found where people reside, which makes sense considering that they would be the beneficiaries of them. They can be found mainly next to stables and in towns. Some areas below the well may span multiple caves or be limited to a simple cave. No matter how big the underworld may be, these methods will help a lot.
Use ladders
Most wells in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom have ladders that the player can climb down into the well, which the player may not be able to see at first if they want to simply jump into the waterhole. The ladders are long enough that the player can use them to get out of the ground. Some wells actually don’t have ladders, which means these other methods become more necessary.
Using the Ascend ability
The Ascend ability will send Links straight up through any slightly flat surface above him and out to the other side. Underground cave ceilings are usually low enough that the player doesn’t need to find a spot to easily return to the surface.
Fast Travel
Players can move quickly while underground. It is useful when the player has completed the cave and wants to move to another part of Hyrule, and does not need to climb back up the ladder to get back to where they came from.
