A recent tweet by the famous Japanese-American singer Hikaru Utada currently causing a fever on the Japanese Twitter page in terms of anime. In the tweet, they mentioned that a recent anime series brought them to tears.

“::sniffle sniffles:: Waaaaaaahhhhhhhhh 😭😭😭😭 (My son recently watched To Your Eternity so I watched it with him when he caught a cold at home and cried till tears!)”
While it’s always fun to learn about the anime that hit celebrities, it’s doubly interesting in this case because Hikaru Utada’s “PINK BLOOD” is actually the opening song of To Your Eternity . It must have been a strange feeling to realize that you were already such an important part of an anime that brought you to tears.
Anime To Your Eternity is adapted from a Japanese manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Yoshitoki Ōima. It has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Magazine since November 2016, with the individual chapters collected by Kodansha into eighteen tankōbons.
