Kodoani.com – It's good news for the manga anime community as the Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair is about to return to Japan's historic capital for its 13th edition later this year. Festival, dearly known as KyoMafwill continue to be held at Miyako Messe, ROHM Kyoto Theater and Kyoto International Manga Museum.
An image for the event was released, featuring Kyoto City public relations figure Kyono Tsukasa and Kyoto Metropolitan Transportation Bureau subway and city bus figure Moe Uzumasa, drawn by hamachamu, a former student of Kyoto University of the Arts.
KyoMaf 2024 will take place on September 21 and 22 in the Kyoto area. The event attracted a record 74 exhibitors in 2023, and applications for this year's event opened today. This will definitely be a great opportunity for manga and anime lovers to meet, experience and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the festival.
