Summary
Aqua and Ruby discover their mother's dark past, and now they focus on exposing her killer. Akane's challenge to the villain could jeopardize her safety in future chapters. Hikaru's sinister intentions towards Ruby and Akane hint at the potential danger ahead.
Oshi no Ko There were heartbreaking twists in the Movie Arc, with Aqua and Ruby touching on the eternally painful subject of Ai Hoshino's untold story. The twins recently learned who their mother really was in the past and are now focused on finishing production., with Aqua's intention to expose Ai's killer coming to fruition. Unbeknownst to Ruby, she meets Hikaru Kamiki, her father and the man who orchestrated Ai's murder, before Akane Kurakawa appears to chase Ruby away.
While leaving, Akane shot Hikaru a knowing look that could put her in danger in Oshi no Ko. It's a bold move, true to her character, but it could have serious consequences in future chapters.
With the villain's penchant for killing rising young stars in the entertainment business, it is not unreasonable to be concerned about future victims. But whether this foreshadows terrible things to come for Akane or Hikaru is still a matter of debate in Oshi no Ko.
Hikaru Kamiki will soon be paying the flute player in Oshi no Ko, whatever that means
The mysterious villain of the series is cornered by Akane Kurokawa
Ruby Hoshino has an unexpected encounter with her biological father, Hikaru Kamiki, in Oshi no Ko Chapter #147. It's a seemingly harmless interaction, as she prays and Hikaru holds out an umbrella to protect herself from the rain. When the conversation turned to Ruby's mother, it's heavily implied that Hikaru is about to push Ruby down the nearby stairs, repeating that he had killed at least one other victim. Akane seems to take Ruby out for tea just before this happens, but the knowing look she gives Hikaru could put her in danger just like Ruby in Oshi no Ko.
The striking interaction with Hikaru is often cold, leading him to say, “I think it's time for me to pay the flute player,” mysteriously. Ruby's work in the movie “15 Years of Lies” will focus attention on him and his role in Ai's life, which means he will soon no longer be able to operate in the shadows. Whether this means his fate is sealed or whether he will use his power as a manufacturer to determine prices on his terms remains to be seen. However, It is unlikely that Ruby or Akane will escape danger from this villain Oshi no Ko.
Why are Akane and possibly Ruby in danger?
Hikaru appears to have killed less people in the preceding moments, adding to the danger the character is in.
It's easy to forget sometimes, but Hikaru could be a serial killer in Oshi no Ko, and he could see Akane as a convicted murderer. After all, she stopped a covert murder plot, cruelly orchestrated when Hikaru gave Ruby what she wanted by bringing her closer to her deceased mother. It also fits his modus operandi, specifically when he killed Yura Kayatose in Chapter #109 by pushing her off a cliff.. With Ruby's passionate desire to become a star, paralleled by Yura before her death and Ai Hoshino, Hikaru targets ambitious young women who want to venture into entertainment business.
Akane Kurokawa could be another victim, especially since channeling Ai led to her developing similar stars in her eyes in chapter #28 of Oshi no Ko after an extremely dark turn. She even displays a strange level of past Bonnie and Clyde loyalty to Aqua's quest for revenge, but then she vows to stop him. Her role in the story is protective but it also puts her in direct danger. This will actually be explored in the Oshi no Ko sequel.
