Kodoani.com – Anime website adapted from manga Chi: I'm not a child anymore (Orb: On the Movements of the Earth) announced on Thursday that rock band Sakanaction will perform the anime's opening theme song. The announcement did not reveal the song's title. This is the band's first song for a television anime.
The anime will premiere on NHK in October, produced by Madhouse.

Seven Seas will release the manga under the title Orb: On the Movements of the Earth and describes the plot as follows:
“In the fifteenth century, the claim that the Earth revolves around the sun is a heresy that can get believers burned at the stake. Prodigy Rafal is introduced to the truth of the universe by his mentor, and then must flee when the Inquisition arrives to enforce 'God's justice'. With only a strange pendant to guide him, will Rafal uncover his mentor's research, and can he and other believers set the world on fire?”
Uoto launched the manga in Big Comic Spirits in September 2020 and ended it on April 25. Shogakukan published the eighth and final volume in June 2022.
The manga won the Grand Prize at the 26th annual Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize in April. Uoto is the youngest person ever to win the Grand Prize at the age of 24.
