Visual artist Khary Ashmore created the stunning short film Gojo versus Toji to challenge himself to see how successful it could be after working for a week, a month, and finally a year. The entire journey is shared on Khary Ashmore's YouTube channel, along with his other incredible projects adapting iconic scenes from beloved series like Hunter x Hunter and Genshin Impact.
Creating visual effects on the level of Ashmore's Gojo Versus Toji video requires a level of time and skill that is often better appreciated by fans. Watching their entire video highlights the many difficulties CGI artists face, especially when trying to create lifelike characters that run the risk of falling into the uncanny valley, making characters look more uncomfortable than realistic.
