Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arc's New Conflict Is the Series' Most Unique Twist
From the very beginning of the series, Kinnikuman has had a very simple storytelling style, where, with a few exceptions, the main characters are always the good guys and the people they fight are always the bad guys. As such, The fight between Devil Chojin and Perfect Chojin is the first Kinnikuman actually explored a conflict that pitted the villains against each other.has much more depth and nuance than other simple battles between good and evil, and watching it unfold is sure to be a blast from start to finish.
Kinnikuman's new conflict is huge
Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arc only started its new conflict with episode #4, but it's already been great. Seeing Devil Chojin return is a pleasant surprise that harks back to the early days of the series, and while there's definitely a twist, Stecasse-King's good performance after his first loss to Kinnikuman was a good way to prove that it's not just heroes who mature over the years.. This is a moment that will only have great impact on veteran Kinnikuman fans, but even newcomers will definitely get a lot out of it.
Buffaloman's involvement is also a welcome development. Buffaloman's storyline in the original series has always made him one of the most developed and admired characters in the Kinnikuman franchise, so while Buffaloman's return to Devil Chojin may seem like a regression in terms of his character, Buffaloman's return to Devil Chojin will surely only add to his character as the full depth of his transformation is revealed.. Overall, Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Episode 4 did a great job of taking the story in an unexpected direction, and episode 5 is sure to be a great sequel.
