Like many others, Chainsaw Man is one of my personal favorite shows of the fall 2022 anime season and I will be patiently waiting for announcements about it. Chainsaw Man Season 2.

With a track record like this, it would be impossible not to give Chainsaw Man a second season, but anime fans know that no matter how good a series is, it can sometimes take years before another season is produced. , if any. However, considering that most people are on the couch anticipating the state of season two, it’s certain that fans will have to wait a long time.

Sometimes animation studios will hold special events or post countdowns to increase excitement before making an announcement. With anime, the way and when to announce a sequel always varies from series to series. With a popular anime like this, Studio MAPPA may be waiting for a special date to officially announce it.

Considering the Chainsaw Man manga is still running, there’s a lot of content for Studio MAPPA to adapt. The first season, which will end with 12 episodes, has so far only included about 4 seasons. That leaves only 4 arcs in the first part of the manga. If I had to guess, those arcs would probably make Chainsaw Man Season 2 if it’s only 12 episodes.

The possibility of Chainsaw Man without a sequel is unlikely right now. The series scores a respectable 8.8 on My Anime List, making it one of the highest rated shows on the popular ratings site. However, with that in mind, as fans, we still have to be realistic with our expectations. Most people seem to predict Chainsaw Man season 2 will premiere in the fall 2023 anime season at the earliest, and I tend to agree. Given the quality of the Studio MAPPA anime, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the series premiere later, during the Winter 2024 or even Spring 2024 anime season, depending on whether or not the number of episodes increases.

Although I can’t say for sure when fans will receive notification about Chainsaw Man Season 2but I suspect Studio MAPPA wants to waste this momentum and I’m sure we can expect to hear an update in the next few weeks.
