Information about part 3 and notable changes
Season 3 of Laid-Back Camp (Yurukyan△), based on Afro's Yurucamp manga, debuted on April 4. Crunchyroll is the anime's official streaming platform, and also offers an English dub version. Notably, part 3 has had a change in production studio, from C-Station to 8-Bit, with Shin Tosaka as the new director, Masafumi Sugiura in charge of composing and Hisanori Hashimoto designing the characters. Musician Akiyuki Tateyama and sound director Takeshi Takadera also return.
Development history of Laid-Back Camp
Laid-Back Camp was first launched by Afro in Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Forward magazine in 2015, then moved to manga website Comic Fuz in 2019. Yen Press released an English version of the manga in March 2018. The first anime part was released in January 2018, followed by the second part in January 2021.
In July 2022, a movie based on the manga was released, and Crunchyroll aired it in November of the same year. A television series adaptation of the original manga also premiered in January 2019.
Game parts of the Laid-Back Camp series
In addition to the anime, Laid-Back Camp also inspired several games such as Yurucamp Have a Nice Day! on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in November 2022. Two virtual reality (VR) games, Laid-Back Camp – Virtual – Lake Motosu and Laid-Back Camp – Virtual – Fumoto Campsite, were also released in 2021 and 2022. especially, the mobile game Laid-Back Camp All-in-one!! launches globally in June 2023, with puzzle game Yurukyan△ Puzzle Camp launching on July 25.
