The To Heart remake is expected to be available on Switch, PC with full 3D graphics
Kodoani.com – During the event “Celebrating 30 years of Grand Aqua Festival” takes place on Sunday, AQUAPLUS has revealed more details about the remake of the novel To Heart 1997 and a new role-playing game (RPG) project called kizuna.
To Heart Remake – Full 3D Graphics and New Cast
AQUAPLUS has announced that the remake of To Heart will be released on Nintendo Switch and PC enter Spring 2024. This new version will be updated with complete 3D graphics for the characters, promising to bring a more modern visual experience while still retaining the spirit of the original. Character design will be up to Tatami Honjoa long-time employee of AQUAPLUS, is in charge.
CD version of the game will cost 4,378 yen (about 28.70 USD).
Downloadable version priced at 3,080 yen (about 20.20 USD).
New cast includes Kana Ichinose in the role Akari Kamigishi and Hina Yomiya in the role Multi. Previously, these characters were voiced by Ayako Kawasumi (Akari) and Yui Horie (Multi). Besides, Yurika will perform the opening song “Feeling Heart”, bringing a fresh yet familiar sound to To Heart fans.
New RPG Project Kizuna
Besides the remake of To Heart, AQUAPLUS also announced the project RPG kizunado Kengo Uchibori (I am Setsuna, Goken) directed and Naoya Shimokawa be a manufacturer. Script written by Munemitsu SUGA (Utawarerumono), with character designs by Tatsuki Amazuyu and Misato Mitsumi (both veteran employees of Utawarerumono and To Heart). The kizuna project promises to bring a new experience to players with a deep storyline and character system.
