Commentator Van Tung is upset because he continues to be dragged into the T1 – Zeus drama
In the second half of 2024, the League of Legends community welcomed a skin line honoring T1's 2023 World Championship. Zeus was still a member of the team and FMVP so he would have 2 Jayce skins. But recently, Zeus's skins caused famous male commentator VCS Van Tung to be criticized by many Zeus fans. The reason is because he called the outfit “T1 Jayce” instead of what these fans thought it should be “Zeus Jayce”.
The T1 World Championship 2023 skin line again got male commentator Van Tung into trouble.
Perhaps the incident was too persistent and the male commentator was unjustly attacked, so in a recent stream, Van Tung shared a hidden meaning but also expressed frustration: “People say you should not argue with people who are not on the same level as you. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.”
He shared his frustration after being repeatedly “var”ed by Zeus fans just because he read the skin name correctly.
In addition, the male commentator also has another hidden example, but quite harsh. And his sharing quickly attracted great attention from the Vietnamese League of Legends community.

On forums, the vast majority of comments expressed support for VCS's male commentator. Because what he did was not wrong. The skin line honoring World Championship teams always defaults to “team name + champion name”. For example, in the past it was SKT T1 Ryze (for Faker skin) and now it is T1 Jayce (for Zeus skin).
The VCS audience was also frustrated by the absurdity of Zeus fans.
Therefore, it is very unreasonable for fans of the former T1 star to continuously “var” the male commentator just because he read the outfit's name correctly. At the same time, these actions only deepen the conflict between T1 fans and Zeus fans, as the anger of T1 fans after the recent dramatic transfer has not really passed.
