Despite being constantly criticized by Korean prosecutors and asked to return home, Do Kwon seems to be living a very leisurely life.
Not long ago, the co-founder of the Terraform Labs ecosystem Do Kwon said he would participate in the UnChained Podcast on YouTube to answer questions about the collapse of the virtual currency LUNA, being wanted globally, and so on.
On the evening of October 18, Do Kwon fulfilled his promise. His interviewer, MC Laura Shin, asked a very popular opening question: Why did the 31-year-old businessman leave Korea and go to another country while there is an arrest warrant.
Do Kwon insists he has never received an arrest warrant from Interpol and is still following the requirements set by the Korean prosecutors.
On September 26, the Korean side announced that Interpol would cooperate to locate and bring Do Kwon home. On October 6, Do Kwon was warned to return to Korea within 14 days or he would not have his passport revoked.
Do Kwon also hinted that he may no longer have Korean nationality. The former CEO said that he has not lived in Korea since the end of 2021 and instead of saying “have to return”, he thinks that the local government should use the word “Korean tourism” more correctly.
Not stopping there, Do Kwon continued to deny that he had not violated the Capital Market Act as alleged by the prosecutor.
Before being wanted, Do Kwon always said that he did not intentionally crash the LUNA coin. He affirmed that the Terra project is not a multi-level fraud scheme and he is also suffering heavy losses and does not know how much money he has lost.
When asked about the possibility of going to prison in the future, he was not too afraid, “Life is long.” – he replied.
