A North Carolina man has been asked to pay a “slightly high” bill after allegedly purchasing several 18+ products and services from an adult movie website. Thomas Barnes, the owner of the story above, believes that it is his dog who ordered these things.

Thomas thinks the dog jumped on the bed while the TV was on, accidentally stomped on the remote and was redirected to a website that sells 18+ content. This dog has somehow ordered a few products on the site as well. Thomas insists he had absolutely no idea, and it wasn’t until the adult website called to confirm that he knew what his dog had done.
Although Thomas immediately tried to cancel the purchase and was confirmed to issue a refund, he discovered he could still view the 18+ content the dog had purchased so he called them all. time after time for the other site but also get no response.
When he paid his internet bill at the end of the month, Thomas paid all the fees and refused to pay the disputed $70. That’s why this unlucky man’s internet service was cut off.
Frustrated, Thomas called the operator:
“70 USD, stealing, I can’t contact them to solve this problem.”
Thomas decided to bring the case to the Federal Communications Commission in hopes of getting back the $70 that his dog spent.
In the end, the website also had to respect Thomas’s “toughness” and returned him $70 according to the previous transaction.
