Kodoani.com – The movie Eiga Doraemon: Nobita no Esekai Monogatari (The Tale of Nobita's Picture World), the 44th part in the Doraemon series, has just revealed the special participation of the comedy duo Sandwich Man as a guest. Mikio Date will provide the voice King of the Artoria kingdomwhile Takeshi Tomizawa takes on the role of one critic. The film is scheduled to premiere in Japan on March 7.
The plot takes Doraemon, Nobita and friends to a painting depicting medieval Europe. During their adventure in this world, they meet Claire and Milo, two children from the country of Artoria, and a small winged demon named Chai. The group of friends are quickly drawn into a battle against a powerful enemy to protect a legendary gem.
The film is directed by Yukiyo Teramotoa familiar name from the Doraemon series, with a script by Satoshi Itō pen. This is also a landmark work 45th anniversary since the Doraemon animated series debuted.
Previously, the movie Eiga Doraemon: Nobita no Chikyū Symphony (Doraemon the Movie: Nobita's Earth Symphony) achieved impressive results when released in March last year. The film not only topped the Japanese box office but also sold well 538,000 tickets and collect 655,555,580 of them (about 4.37 million USD) in the first week of release. With the tradition of bringing meaningful stories, combining rich imagination and friendship, the new film promises to continue to conquer the hearts of fans.
