Dragon Ball Daima has shaken up the Dragon Ball franchise in some important ways with each new episode. Dragon Ball Daima has wrapped up its final episodes for its fall 2024 anime schedule and will return in January with the second half of the series.
However, the film ended the year with one of its biggest reveals to date. Fans got a much closer look at one of the biggest changes ever with Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta. It turns out that Vegeta has been hiding his own Super Saiyan 3 form right under Goku's nose this entire time.
Dragon Ball Daima ra mắt Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta
Dragon Ball Daima continues the battle between Vegeta and Tamagami in the second demon world. While it seemed like Vegeta was preparing to suffer another major defeat against a great enemy, the situation turned around in episode 12. Vegeta unleashed his Super Saiyan 3 form and quickly ended the battle. war.
Now, this new design has been shared in a much closer look, thanks to character design sheets from designer Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru, showing off a better look at this new Vegeta form.
The Daima series takes place not long after the events of the Majin Buu arc, which also means that Goku and Vegeta won't have any access to the divine forms seen in Dragon Ball Super. So Super Saiyan and its stronger variants will become much more important.
With Goku taking most of the spotlight in the battles thus far, we've seen him slowly regain his power to the point where he'll likely return to his Super Saiyan 3 form before it's all over. So it was a real surprise to see Vegeta use this form first, since it's something we never see Vegeta use in either the original Dragon Ball Z or later Dragon Ball Super series. Vegeta seems to have ignored this form for some reason. Now, that has been fixed in Daima.
Vegeta using Super Saiyan 3 is a game-changing twist in Dragon Ball
Vegeta using Super Saiyan 3 is something fans have wanted to see since the early days of Dragon Ball Z. This is one of Vegeta's biggest moments in the Dragon Ball series to date.
With Daima's debut filling in the time gap between the Majin Buu arc and Battle of Gods, Dragon Ball fans now have an explanation as to why Vegeta has never used Super Saiyan 3 before. It wasn't that he ignored it in favor of godly transformations, but rather because he had mastered it and saw no use for it in regular combat.
Just like how Goku uses his own Super Saiyan 3 form. It wasn't effective when it came to using Ki in exchange for that explosive power, but in that childish body, Vegeta had no choice but to go all out.
