Kodoani.com – Bandai Namco Entertainment America released a new video on Tuesday for the action role-playing game based on the manga series “Sand Land” by Akira Toriyama. This video introduced the game's custom combat armor system.
Notably, the game's demo is now available to experience.
“Sand Land” will officially launch on April 26 (April 25 in Japan) for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.

Immerse yourself in a colorful desert world where humans and demons alike face a severe water shortage. As main characters such as Demon Prince Beelzebub, Sheriff Rao and the demon thief, players will set out on an adventure to find the legendary Spring hidden in the desert. As a super devil, Beelzebub possesses a pure heart but has superhuman strength and telepathic abilities. Rao, the sheriff of a small town, seeks the help of the demons to save the entire Sand Land from desolation. Together with Thief, a wise demon with the ability to steal, they will discover wonders and face dangers along the way.
As Beelzebub, players will explore a vast world with his unlikely group of demons and humans. By traveling by various means, players will face dangers and find helpful characters in the vast desert while discovering the secrets of SAND LAND. Vehicle and character combat will be an important part of the game experience. Players will have access to a variety of customizable vehicles and accessories to traverse the desert, overcome obstacles, and take on a variety of powerful enemies.
Manga “Sand Land” is a series of short stories serialized by Toriyama in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from May to August 2000.
The manga inspired an anime film adaptation, which premiered in Japan in August 2023. The film had its world premiere at San Diego Comic-Con International in July 2023 and It is expected to launch in North America this year. The manga was also adapted into an anime series on Disney+ and Hulu on March 20.
