Action RPG launches in Japan on July 25 for PS5/4, Switch; in English for PS5/4, Switch, Steam this fall
KodoaniFuRyu aired the second trailer on Friday for the action RPG “Reynatis“. At the end of the video it is revealed that FuRyu will reveal another trailer of the game on May 9.
“Reynatis” will launch in Japan for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on July 25. Those who pre-order the physical version from FuRyu will receive a soundtrack CD and a set of DLC for the two costumes , an accessory and a “collaboration” with FuRyu's “The Caligula Effect” and “Monark” games. Those who pre-order the digital version of the game will receive the same DLC and weapon codes.
NIS America will release the game for PS5, PS4, Switch and PC via Steam this fall.

In 2024, in Shibuya, Tokyo, the Magical Crime Response Act issued a ban on citizens going out at night. Marin Kirizumi, a magician who grew up oppressed because of his magic, decides to travel to Shibuya at night in search of freedom. Meanwhile, Sari Nishijima, another magician, uses his magic to protect Shibuya from dangerous forces. The story of “Reynatis” begins when the two meet in Shibuya, a place of mixing cultures and ideas.
Takumi Isobe (Trinity Trigger) is the game's planner, producer and director. Kazushige Nojima (Final Fantasy VII, VIII, X series; Kingdom Hearts) is writing the game's script. Yoko Shimomura (Street Fighter II, Final Fantasy XV, Kingdom Hearts series) is composing the music. Yasutaka Kaburagi is drawing the game's character designs, while Yūsuke Naora is drawing the art. StudioGOONEYS is producing the game's cutscenes.
