A new leak from Genshin Impact reveals elements and weapons for the upcoming character Kaveh, which is rumored to appear in patch 3.6.
A recent Genshin Impact leak revealed the elemental and weapon type for the upcoming character Kaveh, which is rumored to launch in the next few updates. The addition of the Sumeru region to HoYoverse’s popular RPG has seen a lot of new and unique playstyles being added to the game along with many new characters. The introduction of the element Thao brought with it a new set of elemental reactions, while new characters such as Dori and Nilou brought creative twists to the game’s existing elements. Now, fans are getting early ideas for one of the game’s next characters.
Kaveh was first introduced to the player Genshin Impact in the version 3.2 update story, being revealed to be Alhaitham’s roommate. The Genshin Impact storyline reveals Kaveh as the architect who created the Alcazarzaray Palace of Sumeru, as well as being bankrupt and living with Alhaitham due to nowhere else to go. The two characters have very interesting interactions with Kaveh’s first scene in the game’s story showing him arguing with Alhaitham. Now, the leaks have given the first opinion on Kaveh’s playstyle.
A recent update from popular Genshin Impact leaker SpendYourPrimos has provided initial information on Kaveh, revealing both the elemental and weapon he will be using. Kaveh will be introduced to the game as a Grass-type heavyweight character and also the first heavy sword character to be introduced with the newest element of Genshin Impact. No information has been released about Kaveh’s rarity at this time. Speculation from leakers Genshin Impact has given his opinion on his expected release alongside Baizhu i.e. version 3.6, however, there are no actual leaks yet to substantiate this claim.
The introduction of Kaveh as a Grass-type heavyweight character will serve as the final weapon in the Grass-type Genshin Impact. Along with the addition of the Thao element in version 3.0 came with two bow characters, Tighnari and Collei, while version 3.2 later added Genshin Impact’s first Draft-type weapon character, Nahida. The upcoming patch 3.4 update is set to introduce two new Grass-type characters when it launches next month, Alhaitham wielding a single sword and Yaoyao wielding a long-handled weapon. Current leaks have also suggested that one more Thao-type character planned to be on the air, Baizhu, will be added in the near future.

The most recent leaks of Kaveh along with many other characters are rumored to be added in the upcoming Genshin Impact updates. Besides the previously mentioned Alhaitham and Yaoyao, Dehya has had some leaks suggesting she could be added in 3.5 as a Fire-type swordsman. Several new characters from the previous regions of the Genshin Imapct have also appeared in the rumors including Mondstadt’s Mika and Liyue’s Baizhu. Genshin Impact’s lineup will grow significantly over the next few updates with several new characters planned.
