Genshin Impact’s Cat Tail Tavern in Mondstadt opened its doors for the first time in patch 3.3, which came out on December 7. Players with Adventure Rank 32 or higher received the “Try” Seven Saints tutorial quest Summon “Come on!” after installing the update, allow them to go inside the Cattail Tavern and get acquainted with the mechanics of the card game.
Specifically, Cattail Tavern bartender Diona will teach players about the card game, and characters like Sucrose and Fischl can be challenged in a duel. At first glance, having to return to Mondstadt to play a new card game may seem cumbersome, but HoYoverse has prepared a feature that makes moving to Cattail Tavern simpler and faster.
Reddit user u/IbsenSmash pointed out that Genshin Impact players can teleport to the Cat’s Tail Tavern. Instead of having to use the teleport at Mondstadt Citadel, players can click on the Cattail Tavern icon on the map to teleport right inside the tavern. Additionally, the player can teleport out of the Cattail Tavern to any teleport point of their choice in Teyvat.
The Cattail Tavern’s teleport feature is useful for players to explore quests and content in other regions such as Inazuma and Sumeru. For example, a Genshin Impact player working on the latest content at Sumeru can teleport to the Cattail Tavern to challenge a friend or NPC in the Seven Summoning Saints. After spending time in the tavern, the player can teleport back to Sumeru without any problem.
