Kodoani.com – Anime television series adapted from manga The Shiunji Family Children (Shiunji-ke no Kodomo-tachi) by Reiji Miyajima has officially revealed its first promotional video, and announced a release date of April 2024. The video also introduces the cheerful ending song, “LIKE YOU o(>< = ><)o LOVE YOU?"performed by the group “Shiunji Family Children” – including the main characters in the Shiunji family.
Family story with hidden secrets
The Shiunji Family Children tells about the Shiunji family, where the members are outstanding in appearance, talent and rich background. The eldest brother, Arata Shiunji, is always “teased” by his sisters but still loves his family dearly. However, when the youngest sister turned 15 years old, a secret revealed by his father turned their peaceful life upside down. The complex love stories and family relationships will take viewers through different levels of emotions, from joy to tension.

Reiji Miyajima, author of The Shiunji Family Children, is also the person behind the famous manga Rent-A-Girlfriend. Miyajima launched The Shiunji Family Children on the Fanbox platform in February 2022, before serializing it in Hakusensha's Young Animal magazine. This manga was paused in June 2022 to allow the author to adjust the schedule, and continued publication from November 2022.
