Riot has a new move to “serve” the League of Legends community
In mid-2024, Riot brought one of the most expensive skins of League of Legends. That is the Hall of Legends skin line and the first player to be honored is Faker. The value of this clothing line, calculated in Vietnamese currency, is up to more than 5 million VND – a very worrying number when most gamers are still students.
With the price being quite expensive at that time, many gamers were extremely disappointed with Riot's “blood-sucking” performance. However, recently, this distributor has made a move to quietly update its clothing line. Specifically, according to a page specializing in releasing information about skins authorized by Riot, this publisher has updated the 5th World Championship trophy to Faker's Ahri skin.
These details will be updated with version 15.2. However, this site has not yet said what the effect of the 5th trophy will be.
The League of Legends community also exploded with excitement
On many forums, many gamers have expressed surprise when Riot takes care of every small detail of the skin line, which is limited and can no longer be profitable. However, this also shows that the HoL skin is also proving to be worth the money gamers spend as well as Riot's promise of a “one-of-a-kind” skin line.
However, there are also questions that for a player still playing like Faker, Riot can add new details, but if it is a retired player, no one knows. Because, among the legends who can own the HoL skin, perhaps only Faker is still diligently competing and can have more titles.
– It's great that they take care of every little detail like that. Not many outfits today have that
– They should also add Faker's signature to the higher tier skins because the Epic line has it but the higher tier skins don't have it
– I don't think they always do that. One like for Riot
But anyway, this move is the right move for Riot. Not only will it make gamers who already own HoL skins feel happy, but future HoL skins will also be more positively received.
