Following Chihiro's journey of revenge, the series has received many compliments, even from Kohei Horikoshi, the author of My Hero Academia. With its growing popularity, creator Takeru Hokazono is preparing for his first anime convention.
Although an anime adaptation of Chihiro's story has not yet been confirmed, Kagurabachi's editor expressed his ambition to bring the series to the small screen, saying,

Takeru Hokazono is scheduled to appear at AnimeFestival Asia from May 3 to 5, along with Shonen Jump “Deputy Editor-in-Chief” Momiyama. Fans are eagerly awaiting news regarding Kagurabachi's possible anime adaptation at next month's event.
AnimeFestival Asia is significant in the world of anime, described as the largest J-Culture & ACG Festival in Southeast Asia, with record attendance in 2022. It is also recognized by the Singapore Tourism Board. named a Finalist for Outstanding Entertainment Event.
