Kodoani.com – Magazine Weekly Shōnen Magazine The first issue of 2025 brought good news to manga fans by announcing that the manga Yowayowa Sensei (Feable Teacher) by Kamio Fukuchi will officially be adapted into a television anime.
An interesting story about a weak teacher
Yowayowa Sensei tells about Hiyori Hiwamuraa newly graduated high school teacher with a personality and appearance that is completely opposite to the usual “inspirational” model. Hiyori is shy, has a soft voice, lacks stamina, and is generally “fragile”. However, it is that weakness that highlights her dedication and enthusiasm for her students.
The humor of the story lies in the students' misunderstanding of Hiyori. They believe that her gentle and quiet appearance hides a “Scary Teacher” capable of cursing those who upset her. However, Akihito Abikuraone of her students, realized Hiyori's true nature and from then on, the relationship between her and her student gradually became closer.
The development of the Yowayowa Sensei manga
Kamio Fukuchi launched Yowayowa Sensei in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in November 2022. After just over two years, the series has quickly attracted readers thanks to its combination of humor, romance, and sympathy for “weak” people who don't give up. Kodansha plans to release the 10th volume of the series on December 17 this year, marking a new milestone in the work's development journey.
Author Kamio Fukuchi and previous projects
Kamio Fukuchi is not a strange name in the manga world. Before Yowayowa Sensei, Fukuchi along Sōichiro Yamamoto (author of Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san) created the manga Kaijū no Tokage (The Monster Lizard). The series was published in Akita Shoten's Bessatsu Shōnen Champion magazine from April 2019 to July 2020, and received attention for its unique concept and impressive drawings.
