Kodoani.com – A recent leak about Honkai: Star Rail has revealed that Herthathe Erudition character, will be getting a 5-star version in upcoming updates. Since the game's launch, Herta has been a popular free 4-star character, especially in some game modes. However, a more powerful version of Herta may soon become a reality.
Players first meet Herta in the opening mission, where she owns the Space Station that the Trailblazers frequent. She is an Ice-type character who follows the Erudition path and is a top pick for Pure Fiction teams. In the lore, Herta is a member of the Genius Society and the Emanator of Nous, the Aeon of Erudition. The version of Herta that players encounter in-game is just a puppet, leaving fans wondering if her real self will appear in the game. According to a leak from HomDGCat, the 5-star version of Herta will be this real self.
5-star Herta will be a new character, similar to how And Heng and Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae are two different versions of the same character. However, unlike Dan Heng, Herta will likely keep the Erudition path and the ice element. Previously, there was also a leak that the Fire Herta was removed, but the release of a 5-star Herta seems to have been planned for a long time.
The leak also describes Herta's 5-star kit, with the majority of her damage coming from her primary ability. This ability marks a target, then detonates it and spreads it to nearby enemies, with all markers being removed after the detonation. Herta's ultimate deals damage to all enemies and stacks a power-up effect.
If this 5-star version of Herta becomes a reality, she could become one of the strongest Erudition-type characters in Honkai: Star Rail.
Meanwhile, the game's 2.5 update will be released soon with a bunch of new content, including the Trailblaze Continuance mission and three new characters: Lingsha, It canand Feixiaowith Feixiao expected to be an excellent wind DPS. Honkai: Star Rail has also just revealed a 5-star character Roughan Erudition unit of the Fantasy element, will join the list in patch 2.6.
