Dragon Ball Daima turned everything upside down for Goku and his friends by turning them all into children. But the anime shows that the latest wish with the magical dragon is actually not that bad for everyone.
Dragon Ball Daima is now entering the Demon Realm as Goku Mini tries to find the new Demon King Gomah to get to the bottom of everything. This new mission will be quite troublesome. However, wishing to turn people into children isn't exactly a big deal for Goku and his friends. They've all been through a lot in the past to get to where they are now, so turning small is ultimately a positive thing for most of them… especially Master Roshi.
The worst wish in Dragon Ball Daima is actually not that bad
Dragon Ball Daima episode 2 begins right after Gomah wishes to turn everyone into children. There's a funny explanation that Gomah can only grant one wish, since it was the first time he used the dragon balls (and Shenron only grants multiple wishes to “regulars”). That means the only wish the Demon King uses is to turn Goku and his friends into children. Not long after, Gomah returned to the Demon Realm.
But as for Goku and his friends, they don't really seem to have any problem with the changes in appearance.
Not only were they not shocked to discover that they had all turned into children, but they also adapted to their situation quite quickly. Both Bulma and Chichi commented on how great their youth looked, and Trunks and Goten joked with each other about being turned into babies. Goku himself seems pretty okay with that aside from needing to learn how to use his childish body, after training with his adult body all this time.
But the biggest beneficiary of all of this is actually Master Roshi, because he's having a great time.
Master Roshi likes being young again in Dragon Ball Daima
While Bulma and Chichi didn't mind that they were young again, Roshi absolutely loved it. It's funny how Goku doesn't recognize him when he tries to give advice, but he quickly learns to love his younger appearance because it's easier to flirt with women. After that, Roshi was seen preparing to go out with a new youthful outfit, suitable for his new age. He absolutely loved it, and it was great to witness that moment.
In a funny way, Dragon Ball Daima is taking the pressure off of Goku and the others. While this was a difficult situation for all of them, they had been through much worse. They just survived the events of the Majin Buu arc and were revived, so another wish that changes their bodies isn't the worst thing they've ever had to deal with.
There's no panic here, as Goku and the others have already taken steps to fix things, so why worry.
