The March issue of Kodansha’s Bessatsu Friend magazine announced on Monday that Satoru’s Doing His Best to Confess (Natsuaki-kun wa Kyō mo Kokuhaku Shitai) manga will end in the magazine’s April 13 issue. March.
Kodansha USA Publishing licensed the manga and began digital publishing in October 2021. The company describes the story:
Natsuki-kun is aloof, handsome, and popular with women…except for his friends, who know his aloofness is due to his shyness and always in his own mind. Thoughts were always occupied by her quirky classmate, Nashida-san…but trying as hard as she could, Natsuki-kun never seemed to have the courage to confess. Can he find a way to tell her how he feels?!
Satoru launched the Doing His Best to Confess manga in Bessatsu Friend in May 2020. Kodansha and pixiv’s Palcy manga app and website also published the manga’s chapters for a limited time. Kodansha published the manga’s fourth volume in October 2022. The manga’s fifth and final volume will ship on May 12.
