Ignoring his mother's illness, the gamer escaped to try out the new blockbuster
That is a new story shared by an “frustrated” gamer on social networks in the past few days. Notably, the main character in this case posted a petition on his personal Facebook, recounting the story of being “banned” from playing games by his family.
Specifically, this guy's mother recently had an accident and broke her leg and had to be hospitalized. Unfortunately, the time of the incident happened on the day the game Monster Hunter Wilds released its demo version. Therefore, he spent more than 20 million to buy a PC and more than 2 million to buy a “genuine version” of the game, so this guy was very frustrated and found every way to escape the hospital and go home to work.
When this gamer's father found out, he was very angry and “smashed” the PC system that the guy had just invested in. On the one hand, the father believes that children cannot be so indifferent to their parents' health condition. Meanwhile, the other gamer was equally “frustrated” because this trial was limited. If they missed it, they would have to wait up to 4 more months to have the opportunity to experience it again.
Is the story of the male gamer above true or false?
First, it must be affirmed that games are a legitimate part of entertainment and many people invest time and money to satisfy this passion. However, any hobby needs to have limits and requires the player to know the difference between hobbies and obligations. In fact, the guy's decision to leave his mother in need of care to go back to “plowing” is a clear demonstration of the “deviation” in the thinking of a part of gamers today.
Although I don't know if this is a true story or if the gamer just “made it up” to attract interaction, it has made fans extremely unhappy. Hopefully, the lessons learned from this incident will be a wake-up call for those who are so immersed in the virtual world that they forget what is really important in life.
