The manga about the runaway princess of the collapsed country debuted in June 2018
Kodoani.com – Akita Shoten's Princess magazine, February issue, announced that the manga Bōkoku no Marguerite (roughly translated: Princess Marguerite of the ruined country) by Momo Sumomo will end in two more chapters. If there are no changes, the manga's final chapter will be released in March 2025. The series previously entered its climax in November 2024.\
Plot
The manga tells the story of Marguerite, a young princess of the kingdom of Lunaria who is fleeing the collapse of her country. To protect her identity, she was adopted by a villager named Christophe and raised as a boy with the name Nicolas. During her 10 years of living incognito, Marguerite unexpectedly meets two jewelers, Rene and Leo, and saves them from a bandit attack. From there, the story of Marguerite's survival, secret identity and complex relationships unfolds.

The manga was launched by Momo Sumomo in Princess magazine in June 2018. Akita Shoten published the 14th compiled book volume on July 16, 2024, and the 15th compiled volume is scheduled for release on December 16, 2024.

Before Bōkoku no Marguerite, Sumomo created the manga Harem Days: The Seven-Starred Country (Kōkyū Days: Shichisei Kuni Monogatari), which ran from October 2011 to January 2018 in Princess magazine. This manga has been released in all 14 volumes in English by Media Do International.
