The app offers manga in English in the United States and Canada and plans to roll out in other languages
Kodoani.com – Crunchyroll just announced at Sony's press conference at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) that they will launch a new manga app called “Crunchyroll Manga” at the end of this year. This will be a premium add-on in Crunchyroll's subscription service.

Crunchyroll is no stranger to providing manga content.
First Crunchyroll Manga service: Launched on October 2013. Manga supply and release at the same time (simulpub) from Kodansha USA Publishing in more than 170 countries. This service used to be one of the major platforms for international manga fans.
Major changes in the category:
February 2018: Removed 14 simulpub titles.
March 2018: Removed 10 more titles from the catalog.
January 2023: Kodansha USA Publishing removed several titles from Crunchyroll, claiming that the change was related to adjustments to their simulpub distribution program.
End of old service: The first Crunchyroll Manga service is now official closes in December 2023.
