Horror, humor and heart unite in this year’s Anime nominations
Kodoani.com – One of the most anticipated series of 2022, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc, has lived up to expectations. Season 11 continues one of the series’ most shocking moments with a vibrant new story while also taking time to honor the events of the previous season. A flash of new life has been added with the arrival of Uzui Tengen, and the energy has never been exhausted since. Let’s take a look at the Anime of the Year nominations to remember how skilled the Demon Slayer is. in weaving the ribbons of unbridled emotions, terrifying fear, and beautiful action sequences together to create an unforgettable experience.
Struggling with the loss of Flame Hashira, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke spent weeks healing and training to improve their fighting techniques. Before long, Sound Hashira, Tengen Uzui, appeared on their doorstep and unexpectedly recruited all three to join him on his quest to Yoshiwara, Tokyo’s entertainment district.
The three young Demon Hunters immediately clash with Uzui, who has a rather high opinion of himself, in some of the funniest scenes of the series. With Tanjiro as his serious self, Zenitsu at the peak of “I can’t even” and Inosuke declaring himself the God of the mountains, kodoani had to pause the first episode in the arc to hold his breath from laughing. .
And just when the kodoani thought he couldn’t love Inosuke more, his struggle to keep his good looks while searching for the demon in the Ogimoto Mansion accomplished it. He’s strong with extremely keen senses and he’s a gorgeous apprentice prostitute. Inosuke is my favorite character in this part; he’s awesome and he knows it.
That said, kodoani recommends continuing these bright moments as things are about to go dark.
There is an underlying fear in the first episodes of the Amusement Park Arc. Despite Yoshiwara’s sparkle, there is something sinister and evil lurking in the darkness and it must be stopped before more innocent lives are lost. But the Demon Slayer has to find it first.
When the demon’s identity is revealed, an unlimited battle against the Demon Slayer’s deadliest enemies will begin. Daki is one of the superior Six Demons, and when her equally powerful brother Gyutaro joins the fray, Tanjiro must fight with everything in his body just to survive.
The arcade has kodoani’s favorite fight scene to date. Even as brutal and destructive, it highlights the blossoming teamwork among our favorite Demon Hunters. Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu know each other well and their strengths and weaknesses inside and out, making them stronger and more connected than ever. The visuals in this fight are also very realistic, with countless innocent lives in danger as it spills out onto the streets of Yoshiwara. Plus, it’s visually stunning.
Tengen Uzui glided across the rooftops in the darkness like a temporary cloud that obscured the light of the moon. Daki’s belts slithered like writhing snakes toward their helpless prey. The vibrant colors of breathing techniques burst across the screen as the Demon Slayers defended against the onslaught of merciless attacks. The animators at Ufotable are at the peak of their hard work and talent this season and it shows in every animation frame.
Even Demon Slayer nothing but brilliant visuals, it would still make it to kodoani’s best anime of the year list. But the series is much more than that. It’s the heart of the series, personified in Tanjiro Kamado, that quickly makes the Demon Slayer a favorite character for a lot of people — myself included. In Tanjiro, we learn to never give up, to remain compassionate, even to our enemies, and to keep fighting for a better tomorrow. We may not be up against monstrous creatures wielding bloody blades, but we can still remember Tanjiro’s lessons when fighting our own demons.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba gets better and better with each season. And as we celebrate the Amusement Zone Arc, that makes the anticipation of the upcoming Swordsman Village Arc even more exciting.
