Tencent's new FPS blockbuster
That is the story of Delta Force: Hawk Ops. It is known that Tencent just released this multi-platform game on September 26. Delta Force: Hawk Ops is the latest part of the famous shooting game series Delta Force (1998). This blockbuster will be the perfect blend of blockbusters such as Call of Duty Warzone, Arena Breakout, Battlefield… In the game, players will be created into groups of 4, each member will have a separate function to support each other. There will be gun systems, weapons, and other heavy vehicles such as tanks, rocket launchers, helicopters, etc. to make the combat experience more diverse and dramatic than ever.
Delta Force: Hawk Ops had a long period of “warning” before officially reaching the public. According to Sohu Games, Delta Force: Hawk Ops achieved an overall score of 7.9 and ranked first in the list of newly launched games in China after only a few days of launch.
Tencent suddenly suffered a new “tribulation”?
I thought Delta Force: Hawk Ops would have a good start, but recently, this game had to ban more than 1,300 cheating accounts. It turned out that a gamer nicknamed Xie had somehow interfered with the game's source code and created a cheating program based on the iOS system. Xie then sold these cheats online and made illegal profits of nearly 60,000 Yuan (more than 200 million VND).
It is known that Xie's cheat will provide familiar “hack” features such as revealing vision, automatic aiming… destroying the balance of the game and causing great damage to the community's experience. . Tencent then conducted a search and found more than 1,300 accounts using Xie products.
In fact, previously, the development team of Delta Force: Hawk Ops also revealed that it banned more than 14,000 accounts in the first PC and mobile test. Recently, Tencent has also banned more than tens of thousands of other accounts and there is still no sign of “cooling down”. So we can see how scary the problem of cranes and cheats in FPS games is at the present time.
