What happened in One Piece Episode 1101
In One Piece episode #1101, “Humanity's strongest form! The Power of the Seraphim!”, with Sentomaru barely conscious, the Seraphim continued to attack the government agents, and they did so with a Devil Fruit that the Straw Hats knew belonged to someone else. Vegapunk explains that although the Zoan fruit is the only one that can be fully produced, he also created Green Blood, a synthetic liquid using Bloodline Elements to give someone a copy of the Paramecia Devil Fruit. Green Blood is used by all Seraphim, and Vegapunk claims that it is part of what makes them powerful.
While that was happening, Luffy and Lucci's fight continued briefly until Luffy finally defeated Lucci with a massive attack reminiscent of the first time he used Gear 3. Afterwards, Luffy reunited with Chopper, Jimbei, and Bonney to head to Vegapunk's location, with Luffy now transformed into an exhausted old man due to excessive use of Gear 5. As Luffy's group left, Lucci is revealed to have recovered from the battle as he stands next to an unconscious Sentomaru.meaning he can now take control of the Seraphim.
